Directions from South Baja to Our La Paz Mexico Resort

  • From San Jose del Cabo, or the Tourist Corridor, take Highway #1 to Cabo San Lucas. At the stop light at the intersection of Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos, turn right towards Todos Santos (you will see a small bullfight arena on the corner on your right-hand side). Continue towards Todos Santos until the first stop light. At the second stop light, you will need to turn right. You will now be on Highway #19 (you will see a “PEMEX” gas station on your right hand side and a commercial plaza on your left hand side). Continue driving until you are out of town. You will know you are out of town when you see the Coca Cola Co. building on one side of the highway and another “PEMEX” gas station on the other side.
  • From Cabo San Lucas, you will need to get yourself to the same crossroad (San Jose del Cabo will be straight ahead, North). Turn left to Todos Santos (towards the beach on the right). Follow the same directions described above from the small bullfight arena.
  • Once you have passed the Coca Cola Co. building and the “PEMEX” gas station, continue following the road. On your way to La Paz, you will pass through three little towns. The first one is called PESCADERO, and you will find it when you reach km 60. Keep in mind that kilometers are decreasing as you are advancing. Drive slowly as there are big speed bumps—you don’t want to hit them going fast.
  • The second small town you will pass through is TODOS SANTOS (5 minutes away from PESCADERO). Once you’ve passed the speed bumps at the beginning of town, continue straight. One block after the stop light, turn right and go straight until the end of the street. You’ll be out of TODOS SANTOS. You’ll see a few little stores on your right hand side and will have to pass one other speed bump. You are now half way to La Paz.
  • Continue following the highway until you get to Km 0(zero) at HIGHWAY #19. Turn left onto Highway #19 at the intersection.
  • The next town you will pass through is SAN PEDRO, and it is only five minutes from the intersection at Highway #19. You will have to pass a total of eight speed bumps on your way through town, so be prepared.
  • Your next stop will be La Paz, which is located 20 minutes from San Pedro. You will see a big sign that reads:  “BIENVENIDOS A LA PAZ”
  • Once in La Paz, stay on BOULEVARD FORJADORES. This is one of the main streets and the one that takes you out and into La Paz if you are going to or coming from Los Cabos. Stay on this street for some time. You will pass a large shopping center, Soriana, and a movie theater, Cinepolis. Follow the street and drive in the middle lane because eventually you will need to turn left. When you get to street 5 DE FEBRERO turn left. You will see a McDonald’s (yes…a McDonald’s) on the left corner across the street.
  • When driving on 5 DE FEBRERO, be mindful of the many courtesy 4 way STOP signs. Drive straight to Abasolo Street, which is almost at the end of the road. Stay in the right lane. You will see a “PEMEX” gas station on the corner across the street. Turn right onto ABASOLO Street. This street takes you directly to the MALECON. The Malecon starts at Marquez de Leon Street. There will be a courtesy 4 way stop sign. Turn left and you will find Vista Coral Plaza (look for the Papas & Beer sign). You can park in the secured parking lot at the plaza and we will stamp your ticket.  You will have 1 hour of free parking. You can also look for a free parking space on the street next to the plaza.
